Hello everyone - I have a couple Sony B65 receivers that I'd like to get working with emulation but can't seem to get them to do anything. Meaning they seem to be locked from whatever region they were used in before. I have a subbed Sony B65 and emulation works great with that.

I'd like to get these other B65's to work.

Anybody know what I can do to get these to work under emulation? I can use my current emulation setup (that is working on another B65) and put that into these new B65's and all you get are limited channels and no payfor view channels. Emulation seems to be working with my valid bin but I believe the receiver is locked maybe to previous cards.

Advice on how to clear the receiver? I have read a bunch of stuff on Sony models and can't seem to find the right fix. Someone out there got the magic solution?

Thanks. treismine2

Unplug for 30 seconds?

Unplugging doesn't do anything! They have been unpluggged for days and no change. I think I read somewhere it has something to do with the receiver remembering the last number of cards that have been used. It has to be locked somehow!

Maybe there is just no way to bring this back to original state so they will work with activation and subbed bin.

Any other help out there?
