Fellas, Mili's not trying to be a jerk...but this question of how long is the HU going to be around is a subject of endless speculation on every website on the net and has absolutely been discussed to death, including right here at DSSMili.
DTV can kill it tonight...but has chosen not to, for reasons known only to them. A lot of things are taking place there, with the Murdoch/NEWS buyout, the NDS/DTV squabble, the intense antipiracy effort on their part...plus the rapid, ever-changing technology of it all.
Personal opinion...and that's ALL it is...the HU will be around for awhile. I don't mean 5 years, but I don't think it's going to expire 5 minutes before the SuperBowl.
Buy a P5 card? I wouldn't be in any kind of a big hurry. For what it's worth, I don't own one.... :cool:

Well, I covered all my bases. I have 4 P4 cards, 4 HU cards, 4 nozkt receivers, and two modded dish net units. Pretty much no matter what happens, I will be watching digital TV.
