Can you believe what Microsoft is up to now!

Well if you have not heard Microsoft is now sueing a 17 year old Candian kid. The person in question is Mike Rowe, a kid from Langley British Columbia, his crime (?) having the smarts to start his own web design company and use his own name in his web site and add the word soft to it, and registering the domain, mikerowesoft.com . Well i guess microsoft tried to buy the domain name from him for $10.00 (probably in Canadian dollars those cheap bastards), can you believe microsoft's balls, the kid said no thank you, and now microsoft is now taking the kid to court because his domain name sounds to much like microsoft and they think that they should have all things named "soft" to avoid confusion and copyright infringment.

In return for picking a new name for his Internet operation,17 yr old Mike Rowe of Victoria will recieve a bunch of goodiesfrom Microsoft including help in getting Microsoft certification training,an Xbox game console and money to cover expenses in changing his website.....Fuck no wonder we enjoy hacking their s/w....!!!!!!

Microsoft HAD to fight this one. They have to show proff of protecting their trademark, or they lose it...

Mikerowesoft.com was obviusoly an attempt at pissing off Microsoft, and/or getting money from them.
