Since May 2002 it is illegal to decrypt DTV or ANY foreign providers' signals in Canada. So if you are hacking Chinese television you are a criminal. How you like that?

Hate to burst your bubble but the Supreme Court decision says it is illegal to OWN, manufacture or distribute satellite hacking stuff in Canada. They also busted on many occasions delers who made or had no DishNet or BEV hardware at all and they never saw their wares. The time may well be coming when they will start going after end users.
