5100 nag

I`m getting the annoying nag smart card not authorized and this is when i`m using my sub card. Channel up then back and will work, just wondering what i could do to fix maybe a hard reset, any help would be great thanks in advance. carry on the good work :)

Yep, hard master reset should do the trick 4 U.

how do i hard reset on a 5100 i`v tryed searching and can`t find any thing. any help would be awsome thanks.

Same as all the other IRD's...

But I'm not sure it will help. Do you have the latest F/W on your 5100?

the last 3 keys have to pressed within 5 seconds ... if done properly you will see the Device Status & Memory Dump Screen... while on this screen press the TV/VIDEO button on your remote ... ignore the message that comes up ... simply unplug for 10 seconds ...

Go to 'System info screen' (menu, 6, 1, 3). Take a look at the Software version. I know there has been a recent FW upgrade, just can't remember what the # is.
