501 jkeys error...

I erased the Flash 1 and Flash 2 in my PVR501. I'm trying to write the bin back, but looks like my read was not good...

Questions:

Does anyone have a good read that I can write to back to my receiver?

Do I have to write back both Flash1 and Flash2? What is the sequence? How?

OK - I loaded Flash1 and Flash2 back - I have the correct receiver id and boxkey, but I don't know what else do I need to change on the public bin.

What about the Boot Strap?

I erased the in the Flash2 bin the SA52 and SA54 and SA60 segments. Now I hooked back the receiver to the stream, but looks like the receiver is dead...

The green light and the red line is up but the receiver does nothing...

Any advice welcomed...

You have to go and connect OJ1 and OJ2 I believe before you can program it. What I did was solder in 2 wires and then when i had to reflash it, disconnect all the cables, connect the two OJ's and plug in to the wall and the jtag and you'll be up. I'd love to give you more instructions but do a search around on OJ and you should find some schematics.

Oh yeah, also, you only need to put on flash 2. Then let it update in the stream - similar to the 301's that way...

Eventualy after couple of hard work I programmed both chips and got the update also!
