I just got a referbished 501 and it came with the new card but to my surprise It will not accept the old card. so I poped the top and it has one AMD GT chip and one AMD DT chip. I am assuming that the Gt chip is tsop 2 with all the IRD info with the 50 byte to only accept the new card. So do I use the vid mod for a 508 to do the 501 with the mixed chips?
