you have a dual lnb at the end of your dish, meaning you can run two rg-6 coaxial cables to 2 ird's, it doesn't really matter which side you use if you are only running one ird. I believe you can recieve BEV, DAVE, or CHARLIE in mexico.
Sure you can , the DTV bird is right over Texas ...
Here is a sat finder , type in your info and you should be up and running ..
Just remember one thing , an 1/8 of an inch of movement down here is 600 miles in space so that puppy has to be right on !

thanks that makes me feel better i was beginning to wonder if i made a stupid purchase. also i know this is a stupid question but this guy i paid to help me put up the dish because i have one arm and cant do it said to me it doesnt matter if the dish is right side up or up side down, now my commen sence says no way but im just curious is he right or does it have to be right side up?

It WILL work upside down BUT, the number of degrees will be way off if the degree scale was also upside down. By that I mean, if the "scale" is right side up as you look at it, but the dish is upside down (arm at the top) it will work as normal. Would be much easier and less mind boggling if done the way everyone else does it. Good luck in your search for the "elusive" signal.
