DTV Latino is a different satellite, where in Mexico are you, I know people in Monrterrey that receive DTV Americano just fine....

you have to slowly move the dish pan from east to west like in 1mm incriments then wait a 10 seconds to see if you have locked on to the sat at 101 degrees, that's if you have your elevation set correctly.

I don't know if the DTV Americano foot print extends that far into Mexico or not. Check the classifieds in the local newspaper for people offering satellite equipment for sale and see if anyone mentions DTV Americano cards, programming or anything......example the Juarez paper has many ads for these services....but Juarez is very close to USA. I know the signal extends to Monterrey, any further, I don't know.

im between colima and acapulco on the pacific coast 5 hors southwest of mexico city even if the dtv latino is different shouldnt be able hit the american sat if pointed in the right direction also i purchased the ird's in america but the boxes are made in mexico thanks for any help
