Dish to Bev

BEV will not activate a dishnetwork aka CHARLIE reciever, you will have to actually purchase a BEV version echostar reciever and then call to BEV to activate the reciever, that's if you live in CANADA, if you are in the USA, your only option with the reciever you have, i believe is to copy the dish rom 10 and put it in a safe place for later and then find a copy of a BEV rom 10 and clone it to the dish card? (Darnat or Chapster you can chime in here if that is wrong). You will have to do a dish to bev reciever conversion and the instructions can be found around here somewhere. It would also help you if you have a jtag and a digital lock for your reciever information on why you would need those items can be explained around the forums here. Do some reading and Good Luck.

if you have the avr, you can use it for emulation (there are a few different programs for that) I think?
