I was wondering if anybody can help me, I would like to get both Bev 91 & 82 satellites on one dish. I have one of the larger (20" wide x 23" high) eliptical dishes and have 1 x LNB that can connect 2 receivers. When I check signal strength, I get the 91 bird signal at 90%+ and also the 82 bird at 90%+, but when I'm on the 82 signal strength screen, it tells me that I'm on the wrong satellite. What do I need to do to get this working?
Thanks,

To be able to get both birds at the same time, you'll need a 2nd LNB. If your existing dish can only accomodate 1 LNB, you can try to 'McGyver' a 2nd one next to it. I used tie wraps for my DN setup (110 & 119). Then you'll need a SW21 switch (1 cable from each LNB - 1 output to TV). Works great!

Thanks for the info. My current setup can only allow 1 LNB. Do you know of any actual shops in the Toronto area that sells the LNB & Y adapter (I want a clean look)? Do I have to get a BEV LNB or will a Dish/DTV LNB work?
Thanks,

As far as where to get a 'Y' adapter, no I don't know where. You can always check the local classified ads, Ebay, etc.
Yes, all BEV/DN/DTV LNB's are all compatible with each other.

Yes. You'll need the SW21 (or higher) as well.
Yes again. Besides the HDTV, it also has the new music channels (don't remember what they call them). 82 also has some international channels...
