I am looking for a Company/Dealer in Canada who sells EPROM's.

In particular I am looking for:
Fujitsu - M27C4001
or
Atmel - AT27C040

I could also take the EEPROM equivalent but I do not know what chips these are.

Only ST-made M27C4001 & AMD-made AM27C040 are UV-erasable. The rest of them are OTP (One Time Programming). Consider looking for these if you think you may need to reprogram them in the future. Sounds like you want to do a noZKT mod on 102/212 IRDs. I know where to get them pre-programmed in the US if that's an alternative.

Do you have a source in Canada (maybe Ontario) for the 27c800 chips (42 pin) for moding the Sony-A4 receivers ??

Thank you all for the replies,

I ended up finding a company on the web who sells an equivalent 100ns (512k x 8) UV eraseable EPROM and also the 1M x 8 chips as well.

I know I can get preprogramed chips for various IRD's

But what fun would that be? ;-)
