Their is no way @ this time to get info. off the new cards @ all so you will just have to use another IRD to run your Hu Card in & keep going on as normal & leave the new paid card in it reciver

I added some tiers to the old subed card and I don't know whether they will copy it to the new card and notice them and somehow loop the new card. Is this far fetched?

If you 'tampered' with the P3, you run the risk of them noticing 'something' during swap prodecure. Best bet is to (1) clean everything off the P3 and reload your cleaned original matching bin to it before attempting the procedure, or (2) tell them you didn't read the instructions and already shredded the card by mistake. The data they want is the card number, subscription data, and any PPV's you owe. You've got a chance, but be prepared, it could get dicey if you aren't. If they detect a tier you didn't subscribe to on the P3 during the swap procedure, you will get a phone call.

i am a bit skeptical on that one lefty. i used to add tiers all the time on some of my basic subs and that would basically be the same thing. if i were you, i would write a nice hex and write it to your card (with the HU cam id ofcourse) and then do the transfer. what would be cool is if you had a no zkt IRD then maybe, just maybe the tiers will stay up. don't forget to wipe PPV before you do the card transfer.

If you don't plug the phone line in, then Dave has no way of knowing what info is on the CAM. Just being old does not make an IRD a nozkt. The nozkt mod is a physical alteration and reprogramming of the unit.

What I find interesting about this whole process is the fact that DTV isn't asking that the old cards be returned! In the past when you received a new card you had to send in your old one. Now they don't want them, Is the end of the P3 getting closer??

I have no idea if the 'extra' tiers will transfer to the new card. I wouldn't count on it and I don't recall seeing any discussion on this point. I would keep using the HU as long as you can. Having a nozkt receiver does not have any bearing on this process of switching to your new P4. You can still order PPV up to your $ limit without your phone line plugged in, just as soon as you do plug it in, you will get a bill for all your purchases.

Well that's cool. Did you update your tier date so you'll get at least 55 or so days out of them? Good info. Thanks petrelungo. Please let us know if and when the tiers get wiped.
