Dish500 with DTV receiver

no need for a skew angle on Dave. still will not be big enough to grab two birds. I used a Dish 500 on a hughes for a while. it did work but got searching for signal when chaned channels alot. see what brand of lnb it has. dish pro or leagacy. there is a thread somewhere explains which work.

i tried a dish 500 with my hughes gabo. i pointed yhe 110 lnb at the 101 sat and it only gave odd transponders.same with 119 lnb pointed at 101. tried unstacking the lnbs in the service menu and it scrambled the channels around. i got showtim on sports channels . swithed to dish 300 with single lnb and problem solved.
