Hey, i got a 501 reciver and i need to know if i can use a quad jtag for the 501 and use a programmed rom 10 card in the 501 reciver...........

Yes. A non-buffered quad mode jtag can easily read the TSOP. However, reflashing the TSOP can be a real pain without a buffered.

As far as the ROM10 goes, it can be used in any rcvr if correctly programmed.
