I hope I'm in the right forum to post this, if not I appoligize since I'm new to experimanting with cards. I'm just starting out and still am looking for a decent programmer. Folks I got my hands on a DIRECTV Blue Card for experimentation. It says Dealer Access Card on it and it's totally Blue with white letttering. I understand this is "The Card" as they say and is similar to the P3's. Some insight or info on this would be a big help and is it an already open card??? Attached is a photo of it. Thanks in advance.
The little 3 inside the yellow triangle means it's a P3 or 'football' card. The only way to know what code is on it is to read the card, copy the .bin and then test it. Since it was once a dealer card, there might be some nice programming already on there, but the only way to know is to test it. Mili's programmer is supposed to be great and for sure his service is top notch.

JT,
Thanks for getting back to me. Other than what you mentioned. Anything special about this card?? Is it immune to the stream or is it the same as any other HU card out there?? Also, what programmer are you talking about?? I was set on a Mikobu III. The other day I went to the store here online and nothing seemed to come up in the programmer section. Any more help would be appreciated.
Other than the programming that may be on the chip, it's no different than any other HU card. Well, it's a little shorter and has a different paint job, but that is just cosmetic. The Milikobu IV is a copy of the Mikobu III, that's the loader you want. If you know a place that is for sure safe to purchase a true Mik III, then go for it, but for sure Mili is safe. Make sure you pay with a money order what ever vendor you decide to go with.

Thanks for the info JT. When I get the programmer I may ask for some help since I'm just starting up on my new hobby. If anyone else has anything to add to this duscussion I'd appreciate it.

JT or anyone else,
I did forget to ask you what is the difference between to Mik III and Mik IV. Anything improved with the new version and will it support/can be modified for future programming of P4's or P5's if needed.
I stand corrected on my statement regarding the Milikobu IV being a copy of the Mik III. Apparently it IS NOT a copy of the Mik III. The Milibobu is of it's own design. I do not have a unit of my own yet, but Mili's previous version of his AIO are reported to perform at least as good as the Mik III. I doubt very much the unit will be able to program the P4.

One more question. Since this was a Dealer card do you think it may work in a RID Ird??
