Hello again everone. I am still trying to get two modded 430's going (M29). I was wondering if I need to edit the new Feb 14th eprom image (in the download area) with the serial number of my 430? If so is it like Mr. Whites instructions? Also when I look on the rear of my receivers a check out the serial number some of the letters in the serial number are not hex values. Sorry to be a bother but I am a going crazy trying to figure this out. Again thanks in advance.

Nothing needs to be done with the eeprom.......I have fixed, by reflashing several 430 w/ M29W chips and a reflash with the new flash bins did the job........

Thanks skinerd for your reply. I have tried to reflash with the new nozkt file and the updated eprom file (both in download area) but both receivers still don't work. The only thing I get is when they are first plugged in the led power lite lights for a few seconds. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks again.

When erasing the flash does sector 31 erase, or give an error?

I'm at work right now so I can't check for sure but I think it erases without an error message but when flashing I do get an error message. Hope this helps.

Also I forgot to add when I do reflash it says the "flash not completely erased" or something like that.

Since the flash got corrupted, you can try unlocking the sector 31, and erase it too, that might help. It shouldn't matter, but since it corrupted, it might. I always unlock sector 31, just so it will completely erase, just to be sure.
Open jkeys, and go straight to dev panel, type the address 7FFE0084 and then for data 60, write word, then D0 write word, do nothing else there. Close dev panel, go to flash programming select the 430 receiver, and erase the flash, it should now completely erase.

Skinerd I appreciate the help. I tried what you suggested and when I try to program the flash I get "error programming flash @ offset 0x7Fc00000" any ideas on this one?

Does the flash erase by going through each sector? 1,2,3... etc. If it does not count the erased sectors you are not erasing flash and it will never program. If it does, check your FP and 3.3V connections again. It may be something obvious. ie. You have it in protect mode on your switch.

7FC00000 is the beginning of the flash, you sure you have 3.3 to FP?
