Sorry Buffer ,took a chance that my 2700 would be the same (figured only power supply circuit)but it is not.Gonna have to find somebody with a 2800 to help you.

Doesn't look good,my source can't find the replacement without actually seeing the thing.As I said before my 2700 does not have a regulator like yours(mine has 4 pin).Sorry bud.

My 4900 uses one of these. It's a VIPer50.
It made by STmicroelectronics.

Did a quick search and this site said they have them
at US 8.95 ea. First one I saw might want to check
around for a better price.
