OK seriously i need aset of instructions to mod a sony b55 receiver, the bin file was just posted at dssftp.

Just read the B-55 thread at ID, the B-55 is a jtag IRD, and there is not a fix for it yet, but they are close.
I have not looked at the bin posted ar dssftp, I don't know if it's a nozkt in of just a flash dump, I have no Sonys so I am not folllowing that closely.

Remove the chip, program it in your chip programmer and re-install chip.

Its that simple.

Here are the no-zkt instructions for your Sony SAT-B55:

1) Unplug the Sony receiver.
2) Put the Sony receiver in a closet & forget about it.
3) Get a receiver that can be modded.
4) Mod the receiver.
5) Insert card.
6) Watch TV.

Grab an RCA 420 and sell your Sony to someone who doesn't care about NoZKT.
420's can be bought at an attractive price. Just ask Skinerd. :p

I have no Sonys so I am not folllowing that closely.

I have a couple. Two B-3's and a B-55. When it become available, I plan on dripping solder. Want a B-3 to play with?
