I bought the pioneer verison of xm yesterday I have not had a chance to take a look inside I figured this thread would be a good place to post all our results on the pioneer head unit...

The pioneer uses it's own proprietary processor, an STA400 & 450, and also contains the ST19AF08 CAP just like the sony units.
