Well I have not been on forums in a couple of days and it seems as though another good member has been run off:(

It is sad because this member was very helpful to a lot of people on this forum.

I think we should stop and think about what you are fixing to post and say to yourself do I really want to say this or should I just keep this to myself. As we are all members here and should be working together not trying to prove someone right or wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinon but sometimes we should keep them to ourself.

Lets help one another not hurt one another :)

dennys,
Budreaux wasn't "run off".... He's choosing not to post here because of the actions of a very few.... Those folks know who they are....
What you said is good advice.... But, it goes both ways.... When you make a claim like Budreaux did, right or wrong, you HAVE to expect some negative reactions.... When you come to a place like this, it's a good idea to check your feelings at the door.... Sure as shit, someone's gonna kick 'em around a bit....
As a side note, I still haven't seen the proof he offered....

FYI..........When it comes to this hobby or business and the "forums", I think anyone should remain open minded and leave their feeling at the door as mdeven stated above. There is and will always be someone smarter and someone who is going to annoy or piss you off. Therefore, expect the worst and be prepared. There will never be a day when someone states something that will prevent me from coming back to these or any forums. My philosophy is such, "opinions are like assholes, we all have them and they stink sometimes". My 2 cents, GTG.

Let's have a good one today, everybody, happy Easter in advance and may you be blessed with unlooped 4B's and good bins...
GTG, you may be stuck with a teeny-weenie avatar from now on due to your traitor status...you and that four-wheelin' buddy of yours :D
Old Budreaux needs to come on back. You know, sometimes, pride can trip you if you're not careful..he and I have talked privately and he's very proud of his talents, and he has many. He's a good guy. I'll admit I was skeptical myself when he first got on board, but the man's OK. He got his feelings hurt, plain and simple. I think I know what Dennys was trying to say, even though it sounded as if the forum staff chased him out of here. She feels like he was intimidated and ridiculed for something he believed in. And he was. But, I can't help agreeing with everyone else, "If you can't stand the heat" - you know, the old cliche...
So, here's a public invitation, Budreaux, and I fully expect your smiling face on here within 24 hours, or I'm sending Dennys to hunt you down ;)
Here's hoping "Hash Friday" passes you by - everyone smile and have a good one ;) Chief

.....it'll be a cold day in hell when someone keeps me from going forward with my endeavors. I knew the risks of posting such a topic when I did and I took them. I am quite busy working on my H-card project still. I have made a bit of progress and I have met with a few obsticles as well. I never give up and admit defeat. I am gonna comment on one statement made by Cheif. "My being very proud of my talents". Sorry Cheif, not the case, there are alot of folks here who would run my know-how in the ground when put up against theirs. I can and do admit that. I am a proud man, but I am a realist as well. Anyone at anytime has the capability of poping in with a bit of advice that even the most advanced hacker may have overlooked. I have ALOT to learn yet, but I also know what i have seen for myself to be a fact. Now i have to uncover it layer by layer before I can truely understand it and know why it is or was working. The tragedy here is that my friend no longer subs to DTV. I do have his card and am trying ot figure out why the hell it was working. I am not gonna go into any of that here. However, that is where I have and will be. I am collecting H-cards, by the way, if that tells you anything. This topic has beem drug thru the mud and I took alot of heat over it, but I don't give diddly. I just chose to avoid it at present. Hell, if I ran away or gave up at all the criticism I have had over the years, I wouldn't amount to diddly today in any aspect of my life. I am a very compitent individual and I am on a mission right now. I will return once I have declared it a loss cause or have a way to prove it once and for all. I stop in and look at the posts, that's why I saw this one. I'm here, just stealthing around.

Thanks Denny for your concern in the matter, it was very good advice. However, no amount of advice will stop and _sshole from being an _sshole. Those few know who they are. I will tell you that I spoke with Cheif and mdeven in private and they had nothing to do with my decision to sit it out a while from this forum. They have been supportive of my comments and have been objective in their views, I respect the hell out of that.

And on a side note, Mark, reread where I wrote the proof that was offered. I stated that I would forward proof once I had it. I will stand by that statement once I have it.

Hell, I'm about ot send you the whole damn card, it's about to piss me off. Remember what you told me about the card in our private talks? Is there a way to verify. I mean, if that's teh case, the damn thing should work in EHU not Basic H, but I can read it in Basic H. Maybew it would woork on either, I am bout at a point in which I may need help to put this thing to bed.

You should be able to dump it in BasicH.... If you're having troubles reading with any of the WinEx programs, you might want to consider an older version.... As far as reading the card in ExtremeHU (assuming what we discussed), it won't happen....
I've gotten to a point where I no longer want to discuss this out in the open.... PM me with your questions ;)
