video problems 301.010

The IRD will boot up and show insert card nag then go to sys info screen and collored lines are across the screen.
I can get the guide to show but no letters in the boxes but shows the blue boxes and the logo fine.
What IC goes to video?
I have screened the M/B for workmanship and found no shorts or indications of faulty traces. does this on all video outputs so I am thinking it is a chip on the board when lit up is falling out but which one.
I have read ALL the threads and looked at the schematics but the video circiut is a rare topic.
any help TIA.
I have reflashed with good tsops and eproms so I do not think it is software.

download the echostar schematics zip and find your model,
put some heat on the solder legs of the componets in the video circiut. not to much just enough to re melt the solder. use a mag glass to see if any splatter or dust is shorting any pins out, use alcohol to clean and let dry before you hook it back up.

I did that on a 6000 and it cleared up/
the 301 I posted this one on was fried......seen the evidence after further inspection.
found out later it went out fter a lighting storm so go figure.....
