I have a 2700 receiver that will not download firmware. I have erased and flashed a new tsop, but still no signal.

I tested the sat in voltage (with no cable) and I am getting a 0 reading. I opened up a good 2700 and found the voltage to be a steady 12.64.

Is there something I can test or replace so I can get this ird a signal again?

Pretty sure They have the schematics here in files, Look for Echostar schematics, It will let you troubleshoot it down with the componites involved and there connections.

I could not upload my normal avatar, I mod at other sites and use that as my sig line normally. I like this place, Just need to get that darn pic sized smaller lol.

How is your receiver project going?

Still a no go on the 2700.....not really good at reading schematics.....I have printed off the schematics for the lnb tuner and trying to trace the problem.

I am also not getting any voltage after one of the diodes....maybe I will replace that one and see what happens.
