Without a jtag, you cannot erase anything.

...in other words....the JunkYard Fix...

You can corrupt the SA sector, but cannot reflash with this method.

I think he gets the point in that indeed he does need a jtag...no-one said he didn't!

I have a 2800 IRD with digi lock installed. Last night I was testing it but I forgot to lock my IRD. So obviously I got hit.

I have deleted section SA5 from TSOP. Now when I put back my IRD into the stream the LED blinks few times then goes bank for about 2 -3 minutes and the whole process is repeating over and over again while TV screen reamins blank. I am not getting the picture did anyone had the same problem or can any body help me solve this problem.
