can not get jtag to id receiver

I have installed the jtag to my 38/3900 receiver,opened the jkeys program and when I click detect I get IRD model=Unknwon.How can I fix this so I can continue to program the receiver.

Check your parellel port properties and set them accordingly in jkeys. This helped me solve the same problem that I had sometime ago.

I got universal J Tag. When I try to get keys, the window shows UNKNOWN DEVICE. When I input the DP 301 or 3100 what ever, the next window say about incorrect device name.

What should I look for while configuring the parallel port?
