I have 4 Dish receivers that are tagged by dishnet as being 3700/2700 models but J-Keys recognizes them as 2800's, the receiver ID on the receiver tag matches the receiver ID on J-keys. Can i just program a 2700/3700 TSOP to these things for BEV to get them to convert, or is there another way to go about this, seeing as BEV doe snot have a 2800 model and erasing SA5 will not do anything because the receiver will not accept the data stream update to cahnge teh receiver to a 2700c. Thanks.

There's a trick to make a 2800 convert to bell just run check switch , half way through it plug the sat feed and let it finish. Then plug it in and leave it on the Aquiring signal message with Bev plugged in . in 5 to 10 minutes u have bell. Or u could use a TSOP flash at virgin state so the guide will also download the logo.

All the newer software versions on these are 2800 series. If you need x700, Just go back to a older revision reflash the tsop and eeprom and then stream update it to bell.

Sounds easy enough, I was thinking that myself last night, one more question though, won't I need to fix the X700 TSOP with specific Box Keys and IRD info via flashedit131? Thanks.
