Having problems with Phillips receivers that I have modded 5250s & 5350 & 5353.What happens is the picture blanks out and only comes back when the plug is pulled & inserted again. The sound stays on.They are not being hashed .I would appreciate any possible solutions.

Did you use the 4.04 version of the NoZKT bin file? If so, dump it for 5.04.

sorry.dont know what a KT1 Y-adaptor is. I would guess that your Dish is not pointed at 101 satellite. It is my guess that you need to fund 101 satellite first and then look for 110 or 119 whatever you want.

KTI is the make of the dish, it is on Oval dish with 3 LNB's. I am not using a multi swich, do I need to hook all four leads comming out of the dish to a switch? Or can I simply take a single cable to my receiver? I'm a newbie, sorry for sounding stupid. I really would appreciat the help.

Ok. unless your dish has a built in multi switch which it probably doesn't you need to get one.I have a Diamond Dual satellite multi switch I use to bring in the Spanish channels on the 119 bird along with the regular programming on the 101 bird.

So that means that I have to take the four leads commng out of the dish to a multi switch and then to the receiver. What I have tried is to connect the dish to each of the individual leads comming from the LNB's but I still don't seem to get the 101 bird. I guess my question is, wil lthe multi switch help with this?

you should be able to find the 101 by changing the configuration in the menu of the receiver to single round dish then hooking your cable to the a or 101 lnb(however its marked) and move your dish till you find it.

I tried to find it by hooking the receiver up to a single round dish and I still didn't have any luck. That is why I am stumped
