No ZKT mod & future P4/P5

Does anybody see any reason why the "no ZKT" mod would not work if and when a P4/5 program is released?

Wouldn't you in theory think that it would function the same on a P4 as an HU? Or does somebody have evidence to the contrary?

Gut feeling says yes....if it's necessary. If a crack does come, there'll be about 15 million legit bins that will work...a NoZKT mod may be redundant.

Yeah, but it's fair to assume that Dave will resume blacklisting in relatively the same way as before. It's too early to tell, but it's not as if the mod will hurt anything, even if you go legit sub with it.

It still should allow the use of just a camID without the matching zkt tables, so if a hack comes, some if not all of the the nozkt benefits still should apply.

yes it will i have tried it with a cancel subbed card and the nozkt mod worked.

look this is all just speculation..I think the code or firmware as it is written is going to need some changes or modifications to it to block those INS42 tier wipe commands...NOZKyT will have its day again in the sun, but I think its reasonable to assume changes will be in order.

there's alot more that Blaknite and the others could have done to the firmware inside these receivers.

I find it very hard to belive that dave would spend hundreds of millions on a new card without addressing the way ins42 packets are processed and other ways to protect his video authorization,

also these new RID based receivers are going to be a problem..they are designed to be permantly married to their original P4 card.

too much is unknow and the only smart move is to assume it will NOT work in its present form and start thinking about ways to dis-assemble the firmware and think of other ways to send modified instructions from the receiver back to the card.

For now, all you can do is use it with a DTV subscription. The purpose of the NoZKT modification was to allow one to use an out of range or fake CAMID (card identification number), eliminating the need for a valid bin, which towards the end of the HU card were becoming quite scarce. A side benefit of the modification prevented tier wiping when running activation.
It could have potential should there ever be a hack for the P4 card..and it will work as is with a subscribed P4.

Dont Look for a P4 Or P5 Hack as its not Coming anytime Soon for Sure
Some of the best hackers have worked for months now & have not gotten too far on this so it could be used by the general Public ! But the NOZKT Mod is good & always be If their is ever a Hack again
