This is just a little info. Maybe it might help someone. I have a subed p4 that has not been in the stream for about two months. When I turned it on yesterday it had the call 721 screen, I figured expired tiers. For shits and grins I put in my hu with a valid cam id and a working 3m. Well it works in that reciver. I get all the channels I am subscribed to plus several others. No ppv or porn thou. Its kinda weird if I put the p4 bak in I get call 721. This leads me to belive that ther is more programing in the rec. flash than in the card to authorize the channels. I am going to lock my flash to day and fire up one of my other recivers that has a p4 and do some jtaging. People get use to jtaging if you want to go to dish. Let the jtag be your friend, I first started thuis hobby with dish and now have moved to dave. So lets all work together and find a solution. Thanks for any input I will post later on my findings. see ya

Duckhunter, a quick question if you don't mind. I am going to put my p4 card in for the first time soon. I've heard that you can put activation on your hu card before you swap it out and it will keep the tiers until a new update comes down. My question is can this be done with a 3m on the hu card. As this is a one time only swap of info from hu to p4 card I don't want to mess it up. I"ve read in several forums that the activation works for awhile but have not heard if anyone has tried it with a 3m on the card. Please advise if you have any information. Thanks!
