Switch to dish net if your gonna go legit. Do not reward dave for this. Plus, I wouldn't put it past Dave to put every new sub in the next week on a 'flagged' list of potential hackers. Save your nozkt's as is and hope for a P4 hack. Watch Charlie in the mean time and you may learn how to hack Charlie if you get the equip.

Dave is also forcing some into one year contracts or renewals if you call to add recievers.

$ 69.95 @ Expert Sat (1 Tivo, 3 IRD, 1 Oval dish, 4-P5 cards)
$ 15.00 for 3 additional receivers / month (Total 15x12= $180.00)
$ 30.00 for first 6 months (30x6= $180.00)
$40.00 for last 6 months (40x6= $240.00)

Total up around $669.95

After 1 yr, sell them back on ebay,

- Tivo S2 = $100.00
- Hughes IRD = $50.00 x 3 = $150.00
- P5 = $100 x 4 = $400.00
- Oval dish = $50.00

Total $700.00 Break even.

Someone may ask who would buy these if P4/P5 hack is still not available. I think we still be able to sell some if not all and got to watch some TV for 1 yr.

Channels were dropped for 2 days while VIACOM was wanting to jack up fees to dishnet for brocasting those channels. They were right back.
Dish has more than dave ever imagined much less has for channels, Look at a dtv ad once, UP TO 225, Dish Ad UP TOO 500. These are legit ones, We can hack multiple times these. Or this way

Dishnet Channels 100-9999. HM.. Bigger number LOL!!!

The core programming is barely any different. Dish has a LOT more muliti-cultural channels and locals, better porn, and more HD. But most of it your average bear won't watch. Charlie doesn't have the NFL Sunday ticket. Now, I'm only running the dish 500 at the 110 and 119 birds. I have not gotten into adding a third satellite....but now I have a spare Dave dish already mounted, I just have to reaim it and add a switch. My tune my change.

Sorry for the dumb question, but since DTV is going to be out of service until somebody leaks a hack, I am new to the dishnet stuff. So, can you use a DTV dish with a Dishnet receiver?

Yes - but only for the 119 satellite. Can't get the 110, and you'll miss out on some programming.
Good way to get started on the cheap, however...

I am interested in pointing my Dave dish to Charlie as well to startout, but its single LNB too.

I have several nozkt's and of course due to the current situation i'm thinking of calling and getting some nice basic package, All of my receivers are write protected and modifed. Will this cause problems when they attempt to program the cards. I do have the original firmwares but of course it's such a bitch to take each part. Thanks-

I agree with JT's first post 100%. Don't reward dave. If you must subscribe do it with charlie or local cable. If enough people does this dave might see how many subs hackers did bring him. I know alot of hackers that has subs. If I were gonna sub it would be with charlie. I also believe new subs with dave or charlie could be put on a flagged list. Oh yeah and about the cost. Charlie gives you the equipment with a 1 year sub. Can't be hacked but you can purchase an extra box to play with and you already have you dish set up by charlie's people for you. All you have to do is hook into it.

The ebay thing might be a little tricky though because prices tend fluctuate on there alot based on what the hacking community is doing..

I have 3 subbed P4's running happily in a Hughes E1, and two NoZKT modded RCA's.
Dishnet is now up and running, however, so the DAVE thing is about to come to a halt.

Thanks, Chief. This is my only option right now as I have too much invested in D*V equipment. Thanks for answering without flaming me, as others have for the mere thought of subbing. I APPRECIATE IT!
