T911 too ISO conversion

Hello,
First let me clear up one thing before you read on and find out for you'reself :) I don't know much about hardware. ok that said...
I am wondering if it is possible to convert my t911 loader into an iso programmer for ROM3 and ROM10 cams?
From what I have read here and there over the years, it seam that the main difference is in the oscilators (i know i spelled that wrong :) ) so would it be possible to change the crystals and use it for rom3 and 10 cams?
Just a thought.
I bet alot of people will be wondering this same thing soon :)

I know this site is predominantly DSS centerd and I realy hope that mili won't be takeing it down if there is no p4 hack soon. Please don't, we love it here. I am a reader more than a poster but I have gained alot of help here and would hate to see yah go.

I think it would cost more to retrofit than to just buy an ISO programmer. Besides you dont have to, you can reflash your loader and use the mighty loader software to read and write to your ROM? cards.

flash ufp16
and mighty loader zip. in it has the xp amtel flash.
will take some reading but it can be done.
the ufp16 is a good little utlity it can erase and write flash very easily. even the mighty flash if you patch the eep hex in with it.

I am confused as usual. I have read that the loaders are different hardware not just software. Can I make my loader work with charlie or not?

the mighty loader stuff is on dssmili's download page, but i saw a loader2iso file at dsscentral, i do not know if it works, use at your own risk.

That is the difference in speed that it takes to get into the P3 and P4 cards respectivelly.

00 got it pretty close to right, it's 3.57 for Dave, 3.68 for Charlie. HU unloopers have a 18.432Mhz crystal so they can glitch faster than the chip can keep up, thus 'breaking' into the chip so you can program it. Supposedly, glitching won't work with a P4/P5/D1 or Charlie cards.

I have am trying to understand can the loader hardware be changer to operate with a charlie card? I am very new to this and I had only 2 hu cards. I looped one and could not get it unlooped. All OOOOOOOOOOOO on ATR. Now both appear to be useless. Is my loader useless with dish and if I try my card in it will my only charlie card be useless?
Everything I have learned in this hobby has been aquired here. No one appreciates it more than me.

For your reference here is the mighty loader package file, it can read rom10 at rev.20. It probably useless for new rev.21 . But it good for testing with HU loader :)

Rite I have heard good things about mighty loader but only with Rom10 at rev.21 as stated. Supposedly possible with Rom10 at other rev but it's totaly useles for Rom3 at any rev.
There is another file floating around that has been known to kill some cams so be carefull.
I am going to assume from these answers that moding the t911 isn't as simple as changeing the crystal and recommend that everyone who don't mind buying online to get the iso programmer on mili's site as it is KNOWN to work very well.
Another note for those switching from dss too dish... Don't worry so much about what type of programmer as you did with HU loaders. It doesn't matter near as much as the dish cams are very easy to get into. BUT read before you start trying. One important thing you may miss if you don't is that if you're cam has been in the stream after a certain date it will be marked if you try to open it and there are several other important issues as well as ways too test for these things that you will want to know before trying anything.
I speak from expirience as i just marked a cam because i thought "ah i'll figure it out as i go" DON"T BE LIKE ME :)

I have successfully read and write to a rom10 with the mighty loader using my hu loader.
just re-flash loader with the mighty loader flash and then run the software. There is a version of the mighty loader that suppose to work for both rom10 and rom3, I never got it to work (it kept asking for proper id code for the software but I have heard that there is a proper flash to get around this).

If you are flashing with the unlooper2iso I believe you will need a program called nasty to read and write to the card but if I remember it only worked for rom3.

3. Can you upload the file that you use or a link would certainly help

I believe it is at911 (or t5??)
I don't believe the magic # is of importance unless you are trying to unlock the card
I don't know how to (I think they are all available at dssftp) and the mightyloader link can be found a few post up

Here is my experience with Mighty loader...
Set the DIPs on my T6 wave to 1&5 for flashing, flashes it with XPAtmel sucsessfully, opened Mighty loader and got a good ATR. Thinking that every thing was good, I closed it out and went off to Jtag a reciever for the box key numbers and when I returned to Mightyloader I keep getting "can't open com port". Reflashed to UL4S5C opened ExHU...No problems. Reflashed with mighty loader flash and still getting com port prob.
Any thoughts????????

Yes it will no it will not . This software that software flash it with this or that. I have ordered the DAMN ISO loader. It aint free but its pretty cheap. Lots cheaper than ruining a good card. I puy $40 dollars on my card and the BBT should be here Mon or Tues.

First of all let me say "Thank all of You for all the info in the forum"..I am very new to this and have been reading a lot..I just wish I could have found this site before buying a MIK 3-"DAMN DAVE"..I am thinking about switching over to dish and was reading this thread. I know, I should do it right a buy a ISO programmer, but to get me by untill than due to dick head Dave blacking out channels..Will my Mik 3 flashed with UFP 16 run with NagraEdit 3.0 or should I use Mighty Loader?
