sleader, the 3500 is not an easy IRD to test with. Especially for someone just starting out. First off, these 'grey' boxes do not have a jtag port. Also, if you don't have a d/lock installed on that IRD (and you're on DN), the first ECM that Charlie hits you with will be the end of that IRD. Well, for DN anyway. If that happens, you can convert to BEV via the junkyard fix. But will not be able to junkyard it back to DN.
