I accidently erased my flash 2, I reflashed flash 2 and erased flash 1 and put it in the data stream. It has been there for for 12 hours and still no updates. The light on the reciver stays on it has been on since i reprogramed flash 2. What am I doing wrong. Where can i find the latest update for the dp301 010, I seached all over for the file still no luck. What is the current software for the dp301 010 I am at 189. any help will be greatly appricated.

I know he said light stays on but I am thinking wrong data is screwing with the eprom?
like flash 1 got put on flash 2 side or vise versa.
maybe erase the sector needed for an update and flash eprom before update and if light come on, good let it update.

I reflashed flash 2, and erased flash 1. When i plug the IRD to the tv and data stream i dont get any picture on the tv. The light on the ird flashes for about 2 secs and then stays off. I completely erased flash 1. Where can i find a copy of the current software for this reciver.

301 are pretty friendly taking almost any flash. me I would read/back up >erase the softlocked sector and get a stream update then read and soft lock the sector only.
either way it will if it is not at p214 you will be sooner or later. and if your getting nag now thats prob why.

Here is my problem, I accidently erased flash 2. I made a backup of flash 2 so I was able to flash it back. My firmware on the reciver is p189. I erased flash 1 and hooked it to the data stream. No luck it has been in the stream for 1 day. When i plug the reviever the light comes on. I can not turn on the reciver with the remote or the power button even after I flashed flash 1 back to p189. I can see the box key and the ird # with jkeys everytime I want but i cannot see it with WALL 2.0 it gives me "incorrect ID error". What am I doing wrong.
Another thing when I slide my access card in and out the light will come on for a few seconds. Where can I find the latest firmware P214 so i can flash it.

I found the latest firmware at 214update. I found out that the problem was my back it was currupted. I used flash 1 and flash 2 that i downloaded from tsop section. I have my origianl box keys and ird info. How do i implement it in the files i downloaded form tsop section. Is there any guides on how to use flashedit.

Iam having problems with my 301 010. The firmware was at P189. I accidently erased my flash 2. I did make a backup of flash2. Here is my problem, when i uploaded flash 2 with Jkeys the light on the reciver would come on but no video on the tv. I ran flashedit and put both my back up of Flash 1 and Flash 2, Flashedit 2.0 gave me a CHECKSUM ERROR. I found the latest tsop files with the current firmware at 214 for Flash 1 and Flash 2. I uploaded the files on my IRD and now I get Video. Since I have the public Dump for the TSOPS, how do i change the box keys and what program do i use to do that. If i need flashedit to do that then how do i chance that in flashedit, also is there a guide that tells you how do make the changes with the box keys and the Ird info.
Any help will be greatly be appricated.

read your ird, both flashes and the eprom. be sure to name them so you will be able to distingush between the 3. OR use the ones you downloaded and skip the reading part if you understand what is hapening here.

open flashedit2 ans in the top box where it ask for a file put in U23 you just saved and then put in the u22 file in the next box , then click advanced then open .
change the box keys and ird number to what you want. click save as personal dump. go ahead and click write softlock while your there. save virgin eprom to
then go back and flash the files ONE ATA A TIME to your ird <erase flash-x, write flash-x> and it should be the boxkeys and ird # you just put. then flash eprom with the one that matches your files you just wrote

tackled that problem, now another all i get is searching for sat signal. How do i fix that. I know my sat feed is good i checked it with a subed reciver. I am lost.
