Receiver ECM's????with Rom3 prgming

Hi,
I am a total newbie. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect as far as receiver ecming with dishnetwork. I am gonna run a blocker script on my rom 3 card but am wondering how often dish sends ecms to the receivers.
I have a backup of my tsop flash but I just was wondering if the ecms are monthly or every 3 months or every min. Historically speaking. I don't want to install a lock yet until I get my dish confidence up. LOL!!!!!!!!!

If you do not open the 500 ppv's, you will prob run for months nag free, Porn and sports open are fine. With the movie ppv's, trickey and hard to say, But those have been the ecm targets lately.
BTW, The emm ecm is rotated in the stream every 20 minutes.

Can you tell me if there is a rock solid lock out there or has dish been defeating the locks as new verisons come out. I would hate to install a lock that isn't any good.
Also is it wise to use the public blocker's or should I get private blocker support?j
