sub with phone line?

:rolleyes: Hi all-newbie here-I am planning to sub to dish and would like to get a dvr and i know these require a phone line. I also have a 2700 and rom 3 card. my question is: can I use a magic card on the 2700 with the rom3 without a phone line, and also run the dvr 522 on the normal sub with a phone line? The dish is a 500 model. Will this work or will I have problems with the 522 hooked to the phone line? Appreciate any info and help. thanks

If your not planning on using the 2700 as a third receiver on your sub. Then yes as long as the 2700 is not subbed you can run the setup you mentioned.
