Yup. Older Lifetimes and Ultras got hit.
PPV's and most of 119 down. Only getting
locals on 119. Almost all of 110 is good
except for PPV's.

any idea if and when a fix might be available?if there is one, do we fix ourselves?i'm curious because i've already sent payment for a Fortec Ultra.i guess that's why this is call testing, you win some and you lose some.maybe my loss here.

Ultra never got it up in the first place, in the interests of continued sales they're keeping it quiet, they're best response like the Ultra problem was ur not reading enough, keeping dummy. I read the entire forum and conc;uded that half the Ultra files were missing. Good luck keep up the great work. I also found out al7bar is owned by incredible electronics same Ariziza the company they had nothing to do with while off loaded they shitty receivers on the pblic and blamed their shell corporation.
But there is a way to fix the ultras, just solder in a chip and reflash.

I guess their idea of a fix is to sell u a new dishnet or bell system, i haven't found a thing to get the Ultras up.

Well with the receivers deemed illegal the suppliers not able to import more and so there is no incentive for them to work on support. It was expected and that is why I decided not to touch them. Get a DishNet setup and move on.

Just received email from SBfor u said they will have Patch for SB enforcer units maybe by the end of the day for the PPV blackouts 4/26/2004

I contacted Silverbullet Via email and they responded once again saying that once you purchase a SIlverbullet or enforcer from them you could download the patch for the Unit Im able to get into there sight, they Had Problems with their sight over the weekend but are up and running now,, Hope this Helps 4/27/2004

As on 04/27/2004 this site is gone ,no email was responsed to their custommer.Want confirm this :please try it and you 'll OK with Mili .
They responded to my email yesterday and today 4/27/2004 and their sight is up and Running they state they have a new Patch for the enforcer units and you can download it once purchased from them, their sight is up and running,, they had problems with their sight over the weekend but now its up,, Hope this helps you.

So you are saying that if you already own an SB you have to buy another one? That seems stupid, especially since thay have already significantly jacked up the price of a blackbird receiver, which is all they are using.
No They told me if you already own one that you purchased from they or one of there dealers you could dowload a Patch at their sight if you purchased it from some other dealer then you have to find a way to download the fix yourself thats what they claim,,, it would be crazy to spend money on another one

HI everyone the guys at Sat-toys.com said there is a New fix for the SB4u enforcer units that involves buying an adapter plug that connects to your computer to download the lastest files hope this helps....

logged on to AL7bar but do not see any new fix posted. Tried SilverBullet4u but you can't access their forums if your not a member. If anyone comes across the fix and can post it would be greatly appreciated!

Blackbird fix out, Silver Bullet Enforcer fix is out, Pansat fix is out, but no word on Fortec Lifetimes (original Silver Bullet)

Update Friday 30th
I just wanted to say to the people that bought the regular silver bullet THANK YOU for being patient. I have no immediate news. Best I can tell you is the enforcer and the reg bullet are two different systems which means there is another group of guys that code for the reg silver bullet. As of now there are probably more Silver bullet Regular units out there than the Enforcers. In short the fix for regular bullets is still in the process of getting fixed. Should be soon but I hate to guarantee a final day. Just wanted to let you know that we are on top of it and HAVE NOT forgotten about you guys at all. I do believe we have the best forum around and members with patience and great attitudes I and all the other admin and mods couldn't ask for anything better..


I'll update the group when and if anything gets released.
