Helo every one, I'm new to dish, learning fast, I have a couple of ?
1. When booting from disk it gives 2 options 1. Chinaman cemu. 2 configure information. Lets say that you choose 2 to edit in your info, like bxkeys, ird, cam. How do you get those edits to stick. So far I haven't been able to get them to stay on the disk and it errors out with all the above info =00000000.
2. when it says choose the name of your eeeprom file, does this mean that I am supposed to patch a good cam to the floppy
3. what is your que to slide the emu in?
I have been reading lots understanding little, but I feel like the learning curve is starting to turn some now, If someone will answer these ? I'll be there.

You need to update the ebd.cab file after you create the disk.
The ebd.cab contains cemu.exe, you need to replace this with a newer version dated 2/2/2004. This works for vu not sure if it will still works for dish.
You will need to use zipwrangler to replace the file as winzip will not let you delete or add to the file, only view it. Find the cemu.exe modified by VU43 as i am running this.
Chinaman is made for vu so you also need to replace bev381.bin with a dish bin with teirs and ppv string. So rename your new dish bin bev381.bin or change cemu.ini to load the new dish bin's name that you copied to the floppy.
I would suggest using yvous if your computer has a hard drive with windows installed. The new version of yvous has the correct bin with teirs and ppv so you only need to add your boxkeys, Ird and cam id.

Hopey007, I got the zipwangler and I understand that I must swap the exe with 2/2/04 IS that the one modded VU43?? I also must edit up a good bin with tiers ppv string , and to name that bin bev381.bin so that cemu knows what to look for. It is almost the same as a pass through. How can you know if the overwrite is successful????
I'll test it out.

I can't seem to get my dish bin into the same format to replace bev381.bin, it does not look like the bev381 either, what I did was in NE edited bin and saved to A drive I was expecting it to say bev382.bin already exists, but it did not, it wrote it and I looked and it is there, just no in the expected format. What did I do wrong??

Hi
Sorry been away. Nagra edit wants to save it as a .bn3 file, select a: as destination and change format to *.*, this will show bev381.bin select it ,then yes to overwrite. It is better to save your dishbin as dish381.bin, then change your .ini file. You have the right .exe by vu43. Yvous is plug and play, but you need windows.
