can a digital lock be installed in a dish 6000?

Yes it can be done but not easily.

The 6000 uses a multi-layer PC board. It makes
it very hard to tap the WE lines to the TSOP's.

The good news is the 6000 model has never
been hit by charlie or bev. Two other models
also share in this seeming unhitable status.

The 2300 and the 7200 dishplayer.

While this dosen't mean it can't happen considering
the age of these receivers it seems unlikely it
ever will.
