Couple questions and random thoughts...
Why would Dave bother to hash no zkt receivers running P4/P5 cams on HU cards when Hu cards would not be working a few months later? There must be a significant expense to develop and deploy a hash.
Does anyone know what updates came down from the stream in the last couple months and what writes they made to receivers?
I'm running a no zkt with a P5 bin on an HU and as of last night still getting ESPN, locals (boston), kids channnels (Nick, etc). 500s and PPV are not working like for all of us.
I'm thinking that the HU not being able to "decode" the stream has just as much to do with the receiver as it does thu HU card. My no zkt receiver would not have taken any attempted writes to the receiver in the last couple months.
milli, skinerd, 4x4, Chief: your thoughts?

Such nonsense,

1. You DO NOT HAVE A p4/p5 bin. If you did, we all would have hacked p4/p5's
2. As the man said, receivers dont glitch...Dave has all the keys...he walks thru the front door.
3. As of *i think( 4/28/04) locals only are left on the HU.
4. It takes 5 minutes to come up with a hash to check CAM IDs out of Hu range. At least it takes me 5 or less....Maybe Dave should hire me.

My opinion was that DAVE did the cam id hash as a shakedown, just to see if any REAL p4 bins would have appeared :)
