newbie question

i am having trouble reading my 2700. i have read several irds but this one just wont let me. could it be because it's been out of the streem to long? i would have to say it's been a very long time since it's been hooked up.

You should be able to read that ird just fine even if it has outdated firmware. If you have applied tsop/eprom locks it will not update with them activated. The 2700 is a really easy model to jtag, so you may have an issue with your jtag or cable.
