The files there are very real.
As a matter of fact... I was able to get PPV info, rating, password., spending limit.. Etc.... from my P4 card and my loader..
You have to reflash you loader.

The problem it has, I was able to do this only once.. and maybe again later.
I'll explain... It's not constant.. I read the PPV from my p4.., then I executed add more spending limit, that did not work.. I read the rating from my P4.. I executed change to "R" rating.. that did not work.

It's not stable enough...

Given that all of this is posted to a public site and some of it worked, albeit without a modicum of stability, it means we are hours or days away from the P4 hack. Did you notice all the banner ads for HU loaders, scripts, etc...? I also saw an ad for PiratesDen.

The P4 hack will come eventually. The PUBLIC, EASY P4 hack is a long way out. Do yourself a favor and get Dish for now and watch TV.

What is so special about that? A receiver a can do it too.....its not magic you know....

I will not buy a dish, I just got into this 2 months ago, and the guy I bought it from said there was no why they would shoot down the HU cards and talked me out of buying the P4 and P5 cards. What a fool I was!! So now I'm in this and I have to say is the most expensive "free" TV I have ever had!!

I don't have the knowledge to hack this myself, but I know some one does and I'm putting my faith in them! I'm waitting for the hack!!!


You shouldn't think of it as "free tv" think of it as a "hobby".
and if you plan on waiting for a p4 hack, well you may be waiting for a very long time. And buying more equipment if the p4 hack comes around.. :rolleyes:

Once again, I re-iterate, if the above is starting to post P4 fixes and they are showing signs of life, just how far are we from the first stable and useable hacks. Based on my experience, not that far: Stay tuned, there is light at the end of the tunnel (and I don't believe it is the freight train bearing down on us!)

Well, in Nassau there are a 2 or 3 stores claiming that they have the P4 fix.

One person I spoke with showed me the "programmed" card she just purchased for $300. It was a P4. She was told to wait until Saturday to put it in in the receiver (which makes me wonder) because they were worried about a possible ECM (which make me wonder more). She bought the card from the same guy that programed her HU cards. The guy has a regular storefront for electronics and card programming.

She's supposed to call me when she installs it and let me know if it really works. Unfortunantly, the only real test is to check chan. 598 :rolleyes:

Since Mili is in Nassau (I almost bumped into him once. I was told that I just missed him - celebrity close call), Mili do you have any comment?

Nassau was hit hard by the HU shutdown. I spoke with another guy that was getting his cable upgraded. He said that the line at Cable bahamas went around the block. Everybody in line was wondering when the fix would be out. DTV is considered a god-given right in the Bahamas (so is the ability to fly to Miami to go shopping but I digress).

1. Reflash your amtel to WT2PLUS,, power down then power up

2. USE win explorer.

3. SET for P2 HU settings

4. set the RTS and the DTR too low.

5. no fusebytes and no USW

6. enable ISO RESET (eXCEPT ATR)

&. Make sure your reset Baud rate is 9600 and data baud is 38400

9. No FLush Echo and NO flush recieve.

10. byte conversion is INVERSE

CLick analyze ATR.... your in.

Find some P4 scripts for Win explorer... use the settings above.

The fix I was referring to was supposed to be a 3M. I still don't beleive it. I figure Mili would know first.

As far as tourists Vs. Bahamains go, Bahamian don't go outside for another month or so. Too cold :cool: Got to stay inside and run the heater.

As for the comment about bogus full accounts. It just can't happen the crm/billing software that dtv is using is in transistion from an archaic db platform to an oracle/web interface. they are currently co-existing. The DB's are cheked against each other for consistency every 18 hrs Part of the verification verifies active/unactive accounts billing and $. the account can't be active more than 24 hrs without a credit card activation or payment up front. I guess if the DTV employee or the sub was stupid enough to give them thier credit card info it could work but I would wait for the boys in blue to show up after doing something that stupid.
