Echostar 5000 doesn't get initial software downloaded

I just got a brand new Echostar 5000 and trying to perform initial software download on it. It looks like it starts to recieve the update, but than it freezes and stope responding to anything. Tried to leave it overnight and more to recieive the update, tried different sattelites, transponders... Nothing works.
1. Any suggestions?
2. Does anybody know how to force initial download ( shortcut anything or something)?
3. I have not tried BEV, do you think it worth while?
