my 1000 reciever is at location 00000001
-is there a junkyard fix for it , I hope there is , and if so what contacts dod i short out ( a pic would be appreciated too )

Look on the board for TP59 and DGND, Short those for about 12 seconds and restream it. I like to drill a hole on the back and put in a Normally open push button and solder it to these points, Works slick.

i did what you said for the 1000 model ..but when i sjort out DGND and TPS59 nothing happens ...am i doing something wrong ????

If you're doing this to view Dishnet, forget it! Charlie doesn't stream the updates for the old grey boxes anymore (after getting ECM'd). It can only be used for BEV now.

Card in slot, apply power to IRD. When you see the 'Acquiring Sat Signal", push the button or short the points for about 3-4 secs. Then leave it alone. If done properly, it will update. Can take up to 45 mins.
