Help w/ 301 & Loc 00001 ???

True newbie trying to get to the point where I can test Charlie.
Bought my system about 18mo ago and now have a desire to start testing.
Finished getting all the info from Jtag the 301.010, no problem.
Also did a save of the flash.
Plug'd the receiver to the TV, w/ no sat feed and getting location 00000001.

Since this was suppose to be brand new, is it ECM'd?

If so since I don't have GOOD backup of the TSOP, which is the best
method to get this cleared?

1) pull a file from the TSOP bank, if yes, which file?
2) Use the Quick Fix under Mili's TSOP how-to

Just connect the jtag, Open Jkeys plash programming, Select flash 1 ( Make sure not flash 2) and delete sa 3 3 times, Them restream the receiver and all fine. Yes it was ecm'd to do that.

NP, Just really watch it is flash 1, Flash 2 kills these and makes for a big project repairing them

Birdie, now your scaring me ..... :cry:

If you look at bellexpress site and go to the JTAG how-to section on quick ECM fix.
Scroll down to the very end. In the table it states for a 301.010
to erase sector SA3, BUT in FLASH 1.

Is that table wrong?

Since this may turn into a huge nightmare, I just want to be sure.

Yep. Been really tired today, Was up too late last night on the forums and think the brain is off duty LOL.
