Can I use 2 dishes?

I was wanting to use 2 dtv dishes to get both sattellites on dishnet. I found this:

no, this is for one sat signal and 1 cable uhf/vhf signal. you won't get a sat signal if you hook up the sat to the uhf/vhf side. Max

2 dtv dishes with a sw21 works good.

Is there some type of guide that tells me what channels are on what sattelites? It gives me the choice to select several differenct satellites on the reciever, but I am not sure what ones are the best. I am currently only on 119 only and get very limited ppv's.
