Error 153 Need Help!!!!!

I was watching tv and bam .....my location number is at 0000001.....I'm assuming my receiver has been hit.....what do I need to do to fix this? and Is there a way to do it with out using a J-Tag? Thanks for any info given

Dif for each model. Look ay my sig for jtag repair, Cannot say junkyard fix without knowing your model.

I have a 2700 model.....how often is this going to happen? I had just got everything going then bam it was hit.. what can I do to keep it from happening? Thanks for the info.

I got the same error 153 on 301.013, any idea how to fix it?

Same 153 message been happening here too. I have 3900,rom10revA16 w/blocker..gatting hit 2-3 times a hour.Been reading,might have something to do with ppv or cam id.Still reading.
