newbie needs help

dtv dish will work fine, If you have a dtv multiswitch take it off.
Alot of learning to do to get going, But some reading and patience you can do it. Start with Mili's awesome guide at the top here called"Getting started" select dish and bev, It will answer all your questions. It is the best newbies guide I have ever seen.
