Hello I have been reading alot about programming the Magic Card and I am new to this and I cannot figure out what the Scammer program does and how it works I installed the scammers2.exe and I get this error (component"MSINET.OCX" or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file missing or invalid) I do not know what file I am missing.Once I figure this out I still need to know how to use Scammers does it generate valid cam ID's if so how does it do this and do you have to do this step before you can program your magic card?Sorry for all the questions I am new and having a hard time.I am running windows XP home edtion and I have a new 3.4GHZ computer from alienware so I should have plenty of space and power I hope.
THanks this is a great site

I just take the number off the card, Subtract 10 and convert it to hex and try. Almost always works fine.

Why do you need to generate valid cams for the MC? Go camless rom3. All you will need is your receiver # and boxkeys. I never used scammer to do anything with the MC. Some people are having problems using the rom10 with the MC and married sub mode.

So I do not have to put anything in the cam ID box and it will work fine?

in the mc software it does say "optional" in the cam id and zip code box - not sure why its even opened up in camless mode if its truly "optional".

Correct do not edit the cam id field in any way. The id should end in XX. Leave everything as is , even the X's.
