That is a odd number error. Keep your jtag cable short, the shorter the better. Without knowing more about your setup its hard to give suggestions to help out.

i have my jtag connected directly to my parallel port. i have a 2800 i did the eprom and tsop lock and every thing was working but i was not getting any real channels, only music and informortial i thought my version was wrong so t unlock and left in stream with mc and when i went back the ird was not responding or showing anything and the green light would some time come on on off but would not response to the remote, and i would have a black screen. so i am trying to do a tsop restore. but it would not give me the ird information when i detect, i would have to choose it from the drop down menu and then i would get the error when i try to flash. it says trap functional at teh bottom of the flash screen so i think my jtag is working and i am in the programing mode.
also when i choose the model from the drop down box iwould get most of the information i used to get, but the model # and sofeware would show yyyy and yyyy. also does the pad under pin 7 of the eprom terminate at pin 7 or is it suppose to go under the eprom to another connection. my trace broke off before pin 7 when i was doing the install
thanks for responding. i appreciate any help. i am just not have ing any luck with dish.

Sounds like your boxkeys are wrong.

i don't know for sure what i did, but i keep pluging at the buttons and i was able to get into the flash programme. i did a a full erase and rewrite the eprom. was done ok. but it still gives a error when i try to flash the tsop. now the reciever would not power up at all. i left it in stream all night with out card.
