I'm trying to aim the satellite to BEV for 91 and 82 but unable to get both signals. I just was able to get one or other. I guess I don't know the correct elevation, azimuth, skew for 91 and 82. If you guys know it please let me know. I'm living in Los Angeles, CA.
Any responses, appreciate!!!
Pick the main 91 bird first then rotate the pan and bring in the 82 sat ...

This http://www3.telus.net/rampage/skew.htm site might help. 82 doesn't have important programming from what I've seen.
hack P4, thanks for the very useful website, I was able to get both of them. I own you. Thanks again.

i can get the 91 but not 82. how wide is the signal path to get both in degrees. i am shooting between trees however, there is no way of getting 82. i am using the numbers:
degrees 121

82 does have the bev hd so that is important to some.
kelowna... should be about um 9 degress, sorry but had to. no really it is not very much turn at all with your dish, just a little to the left from the 91.
http://www3.telus.net/rampage/skew.htm check this site as given by p4hack and should help you.
woa, woa, I am not sure the dishpro will work with bev sats, anyone else for sure?? the dish 301.010 has been converted to a bev receiver too right
Hi,
Just a quick question tho, do we still get a lot out of BEV or just a few since nimiq3 had been moved? I mean the 91west bird.
Thanks,
Slu3

well to pick up bev sat channels you would need a reciever set up with bev software, either bev origianlly or a dish rec converted to bev.

Your settings are correct for Kelowna. Bang on in fact!! Try relocating your dish. Lock in using 91 with no switches attached. Keep your skew at 66 and peak your signal using 91. If the skew is set at 66 and 91 is peaked 82 will be there if no obstructions. Good luck
